Chance Kuehnel is a prop artisan and general maker of curious things with roughly 14 years experience working in theatre and the entertainment world.

They received their BFA in theatre, with a focus in properties and scenic painting, from Santa Fe University of Art and Design.


Their passion to create extends into opera, event installations, burlesque, and the occasional odd and exciting commissions that comes their way.

They currently reside in Richmond, Virginia where they are apart of IATSE local 487. 

Chance enjoys filling life to the brim with fun projects, strange passions, and kind people who bring richness to their life.

Off stage and camera they enjoy creating personal work through relief printing and being involved with local Queer & Trans run art markets.

They are willing to travel for short term work and interesting productions to collaborate on.
